About the project

In central Sandviken, at the intersection of Smedsgatan/Barrsätragatan, Solhemmet has been entrusted to develop the senior residence Ritaren (named after the district).

The project consists of four lamella buildings with 46 generous apartments ranging from 71-98 sqm and a large heated glazed courtyard where residents can meet, organize joint activities and socialize throughout all hours of the day. The building also includes a ground floor space reserved for home care services. With the Cultural Center, the charming Old Mill district and the pedestrian street just a stone's throw away, everything is within reach, whether residents want to feel the pulse of the city or take a relaxing walk in a culturally historic environment.
